Three years ago we said our goodbyes with lots of tears but as expected there was no need to worry about Clark, he soon settled in at Fowey and has been waited on hand and foot every since! A true prince in his castle.
We have had plenty of visits and he has come back to us on holiday plenty of times which has made me so very happy. He continues to have a hobbly leg when he is sore but generally, he is in fantastic health for a 10 years old ish dog.
He now has a new sister, Peggy Poo, whom he adores and they have formed a lovely bond of friendship. When comes to us he immediately falls back in with my girls and loves a romp around the fields with them.
Clarkus Barkus changed our lives, and we changed his, I guess. Fostering is hard going on the heart but brings with it so much joy and love. Terrier SOS always need fosterers and have wonderful dogs just like Clarkie who need a loving supportive home to blossom back into the dogs they were before abuse or abandonment - if you can please foster!!
